Dario Franchitti won the Indianapolis 500 (Indy 500) for the second time on Sunday.
The 37-year-old racer from Scotland, who started in third, had just enough fuel left to cross the finish line ahead of runner-up Dan Wheldon and his compatriot Alex Lloyd.
With Franchitti’s win, Chip Ganassi became the first team owner to win the Indy and NASCAR’s Daytona 500 in the same year.
